Joe has lived in Cottonwood for the last seven years with his wife, Jayne, of 20 years and five children. Since 1993, Joe has been a small business owner. Mr. Jaraczewski attended St. Ambrose University in Davenport, IA on a football scholarship. He graduated in 1988 with a B.S. in Political Science. After Political Science, Joe rose from the ranks of a commercial concrete laborer to form his own real estate development company. He operated the company until 2002.

In 2003, Joe and Dr. Jayne relocated their family to the Verde Valley. The couple chose to live in rural Arizona because they believed that a close knit environment where people cared about each other would be the ideal place to raise a family. Having both grown up in smaller cities, the Jaraczewskis realized that their children could experience much more in a rural setting than in a large city. Living in Cottonwood and the Verde Valley has allowed their children to pursue their passion for animals through 4H, FFA and horsemanship in addition to participating in numerous other community sports and activities.

“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

– Edmund Burke

MY CALL TO SERVE

What we know to be “uniquely American” is under attack by career politicians and lobbyists in Washington, D.C. I want to go to Washington to reverse the course. As a father of five children living in the district, I want to pass on to our children something that resembles what previous generations left us and our Founding Fathers gave us.

“You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the last step into 1000 years of darkness.”

– Ronald Reagan, California gubernatorial inauguration speech.
